Catherine Mae Vaughn Rash, age 84, of Monticello (Enon Community) passed away March 2, 2012 at her home. She was born November 17, 1927 in Center, TX to the late Clayton and Minnie Spivey Vaughn. She was a faithful member of Enon Baptist Church until her health prevented her to go. She was retired from Burlington Carpets and also was a licensed beautician. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers, four sisters and her husband Aylesworth 'Buck' Rash to whom she married on October 24, 1946 in Bossier City, LA.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Hales and husband Mike, Marilyn Bostian and her husband Quentin 'Junior' all of Monticello; one son, Don Rash and his wife Cheryl of Malvern; one sister, Eula Long of Center, TX; grandchildren, Chris Hales, Lynn Hales Harris, Nancy Bostian Paschall and husband Shane and Pamela Bostian Small all of Monticello, Justin Rash and his wife Jessica stationed in Guam, Tyler Rash and Kristen Rash of Malvern; great-grandchildren, Jake Harris, Katelyn Harris, Elizabeth Smith, Parker Paschall, Karrah Beth Paschall, Sarah Paschall and Kameron Rash.

A special thank you to all her caregivers, the Hospice staff and Dr. Jeffrey Reinhart and staff.
