Vanesa D. Degraffenreed Washington, 40, of Mesquite, TX, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Sunnyvale Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX. She was born January 2, 1972 in Little Rock, AR.

She was a Dental assistant and a Christian. She was preceded in death by her father, Pravis Degraffenreed.

Survivors include her husband of fifteen years, Bernard Lee Washington of Mesquite, TX; her children, Kierra N. Veasey of Little Rock, AR, Darrell Lee Veasey, Jr. of Corning, NY and Marques T. Washington of Mesquite, TX; her mother, Earnestine Randolph Thomas and step father, Efrain Elizondo; siblings, LaTanya Degraffenreed, Stacee Degraffenreed, Dante Degraffenreed, James Thomas and Efrain Elizondo, Jr.; grandchildren, Te'Jveon (TJ) Lexing, T'Nessa Veasey and Te'Yunna Nix.
