He graduated from Drew Central High School in 1975, was a retired Sergeant of the former 1122nd Transportation Company of the U.S. Army. He loved to spend time with friends and family, fish, hunt and play cards in Vinegar Hill.
He was survived by two daughters Latasha Miller and Lawanda Jefferson of Little Rock; a step-son Antwan Harden; his parents, Rev. Nelson and Lucy Spencer; three sisters, Delois Spencer, Brenda (Oscar) Greene, Cynthia Spencer; three brothers, Roger (Sandra) Spencer, Darren (Shirley) Spencer, and Freddy Spencer; five grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, seven special double cousins of whom all were very close, and fifteen special cousins and a devoted friend (ex-wife) Linda Haynes.
