Bobby Dean Norris, 81, of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2012. He was born July 26, 1931 in Hermitage, AR.

He was a retired Director of Maintenance at Drew Memorial Hospital, retired from Monticello Fire Department and OES and was a member and Deacon at Pauline Missionary Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Thomas Jefferson Norris and Johnnie Lee Ruff Norris and was preceded in death by three sisters, Ilene Norris Castleberry, Marie Norris Smith and Vaughnie Norris Hargis.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Nell Carmical Norris of Monticello; one son, Danny Norris and wife, Fonda of Warren; two daughters, Connie Hardin and husband, Ken of Rogers and Rebecca Carmichael and husband, Charlie of Monticello; one brother, T. J. Norris, Jr. of Angleton, TX; four grandchildren, Kelli Norris Stuart and husband, Jason, Kerry Norris, C. J. Carmichael and Kenneth C. Hardin, III; and numerous nieces and nephews.
