Miss Betty was a lovely neighbor when we were backyard neighbors 15+ years ago. She was especially kind to my son, John Harper, who enjoyed visiting and learning from Miss Betty about plants are gardening. I learned a thing or two from her as well. She was always kind and generous with her smiles. We feel blessed to have known her.
  3. Janis Sweet Burt Smith
I only learned of Betty's passing today and it breaks my heart because she was one of the most wonderful people I have ever known. She and the entire Pennington family treated me like one of their own because I was always with Jane. My heart goes out to all of you in her loss. Love to all the family.
