Dad I miss you each day. Bettye passed and I know she is without pain now. You know how my health and transportation has been for awhile now. You know I was hurt when Douglas forgot about his Brother and Sister when he wrote Bettye's obit. Whatever his reason, I will still love him, forever.

    Ms Betty:
Just want to let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Mr Norman meant a great deal to Joshua, Jacob, and myself. Although we didn't know him for that long we still consider him (and you) very dear friends. I will miss the good times at the lake (especially catching cats), however I will always cherish the memories me and my sons made while visiting you and Mr Norman.

    Miss Betty,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many great memories of times that our families spent together. Some of them happy and some of them sad, but it seems like if there was anything that needed to be done, you two were always there to help. The building of a new home and barn, the death of my daddy and papaw, no matter the situation. I will always remember his crooked smile and great attitude with great fondness. I know Doug and I used to drive him crazy running all over the prairie but he never let it show! I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

    Love,

    Wendy Myers Hodges

Uncle Doug is my 2nd Dad. He was always there for me and I love him dearly. To step up and alway be there for me when I wasn't even his blood neice, but the neice of his wife says what kind of man he was and I know that he is now with Jesus and my Jason. Aunt Bettye and Douglas I love you both and remember that true peace and comfort only comes through our Lord and Savior. Jesus will carry you through this difficult time.
