Patsy Haney Forrest, 66 of Monticello passed Wednesday, September 4 at her home. She was born August 2, 1947 to the late William Harold and Sue Griffith Haney.

She was the widow of Earl Forrest and a Methodist. She worked for 30 plus years at Burlington Industries in the shipping and receiving department and lastly as a secretary; she later retired from the Drew County Detention Center.

Survivors include one son, Shannon Forrest and wife, Melissa of Monticello; one daughter, Lynn Forrest Sites of North Little Rock; one grandson, Michael Forrest of Monticello; one granddaughter, Samantha Davenport of Sherwood; one great-grandson, Konnor Forrest of Monticello; two brothers, Rick Haney and wife, Fran of Bay Minette, AL and Larry Haney and wife, Evelyn of Monticello; and numerous other relatives and friends.

    Larry I'm so sorry to hear of Pat's passing. She was a very special lady and was loved by many. Colby truly cared for her very much, she was extra kind to him and knew him all to well, lol.
