Hot Springs Vlg., AR Friday, November 8, 2013 Peggy,Hershel,Bill, and Family I am sorry to hear Curtis's passing. I have fond memories of many of the Gober family started by Mr. Henry Gober senior. When I was small Mr. Henry lived across road from our place. I remember visiting Curt in California when I was waiting to ship overseas during the Korean war. He took me to a pub where he entertained the patrons by playing the spoons.Delbert Palmer
Washington, DC Friday, November 8, 2013 Reggie, Cathy, Peggy, Hershel, Bill and families -I just received word, today, of Curt's death and am so saddened by it. Curt was always full of life and shared it with everyone he knew. He was a delight to be in the presence of and so very caring of others around him. Curt always had a good story to tell and I will always have the fondest memories of him and his laughter. He was always so loving toward his Uncle Dick and Aunt Reatha, of which I genuinely appreciated. He loved his family and I know you all will miss him, so very much. I will place Curt's name to be offered up to the Prayers of the Departed at my Parish, St. Margaret's and likewise, at the National Cathedral. May light perpetual shine upon his soul & all those who have gone before him and may Peace Be With You All +
