John Earl Carnahan, 59, of Monticello, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Drew Memorial Hospital. He was born February 19, 1954 in Merced, CA., the son of the late Earl Campbell Carnahan and Maxine Ebner Carnahan.

He was employed at War Eagle Boats and was a Christian. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was an avid reader and loved getting together with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Kimberly DeWoody Carnahan of Monticello; two daughters, Shaunda Wilcox of Fresno, CA and Brandi Boykin of Calera, AL; one son, Jeffery Hamilton of Fresno, CA; one brother, Dann Carnahan of Fresno, CA; two sisters, Lynda Wells of Selma, CA and Julie Carnahan of Fresno, CA; ten grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
