He was a retired tow motor operator at Burlington and a member of Living Word Fellowship Church. He loved hunting. He was preceded in death by his father, Kennon Burnett.
Survivors include his wife, Annette Breedlove Burnett of Monticello; two daughters, Haley Burnett of Monticello and Teresa Shaw of Leland, MS; his mother, Maxine Webb Burnett Reaves of Monticello; two brothers, Raymond Burnett and wife, Teresa, of Little Rock and Thomas Lee Burnett and wife, Joan, of Pine Bluff; a very special aunt & uncle, Gene and Sheryl Webb of Little Rock; one granddaughter, Rose Marie Shaw of Leland, MS; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
