She was the widow of Willie Jeffress, a housewife and was of the Methodist faith. She loved working in the yard, growing flowers, listening to country music and loved watching and feeding the birds. Mrs. Jeffress sewed and made school clothes for her family for many years. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Linda Jeffress Nelson and Sherry Grant; one sister, Doris Crow Walker; and one brother, Earl Crow.
Survivors include one daughter, Lois Sanders of Monticello; three grandchildren, Cindy Dunemn of Monticello, Michael Brantley of Collinsville, MS and Cheryl McIlwain of Shreveport, LA; seven great-grandchildren, Ashley Shaw, Dustin Sullivan, Alex Sullivan, William Brantley, Justin Brantley, Andrew Dunemn and Misty Branch; and two great-great-grandchildren, Jaxson Shaw and Sawyer Dunemn.
