He was a former employee of Burlington Industries and a member of the Second Baptist Church of Monticello. Bubba was an avid Razorback fan and playing the guitar and banjo were among his favorite things to do. He had a huge heart, loved everyone and loved being involved with whatever others were doing.
He also enjoyed riding four wheelers and going to the shop to work with his brother-in-law. He brought joy to everyone he was around and never met a stranger. Other hobbies that he enjoyed was grilling, raking leaves and just being with his family. Bubba dearly loved his mom and dad and has always been a "Mama's boy."
His survivors include his mother, Mary Hall Carter of Sheridan; six sisters, Brenda Watson and husband David of Sheridan, Audrey McKenzie of North Little Rock; Cathy Owens and husband Dean of Pine Bluff; Mary Francis Pezullo and husband Tony of Monticello, Charlotte Fisher and husband Pat of Monticello, and Linda Shafer and husband Keith of Jonesboro; eleven nieces and nephews; nine great nieces and nephews; and his loving pet, Betty.
