William Edward Owens, age 48 of Monticello, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014 at his home. He was born February 12, 1966 in Tulare, California.

He was a truck driver for D H Forrest Logging and attended Cominto Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother and grandfather, his paternal grandmother and grandfather, three uncles, two aunts and his step-grandfather. He loved being a truck driver, was an avid hunter and fisherman, all around outdoorsman, but most of all, loved being with his wife, children, grandchildren, family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Withers Owens of Monticello who he married March 6, 2004; six children, Lisa Owens Kiling and husband Chris of Batesville, MS, Summer Hunt Warren and husband Lance of Lake Village, Monica Owens Allen and husband Mark of Hermitage, William Preston Owens and girl-friend Crystal of Monticello, twins Danny Ray and Wesley Patrick Carnicle-Owens of Monticello; his parents, Dorothy and Randy McDaniel of Monticello and Bennie Owens of Crossett; one sister, Diana Acrecy and partner Royce Dickerson of Monticello; three brothers, Roy Lee Owens and fiancé Nicole Hall of Crossett, Johnny McDaniel and wife Jennifer of Monticello and Greg Owens and wife Angela of Texas, his uncle Bobby and aunt Gail of Lake Village; eighteen grandchildren, ten nieces and nephews, seven great nieces and nephews.
