Orel Bruce Forrest, age 74 of Monticello passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. He was born April 6, 1935 in Drew County, AR to the late Penix Forrest & Adra Cox Forrest.

He was retired from the U.S. Army and a plumber. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and a Korean & Vietnam War veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Annett Farmer Forrest of Monticello; two sons, Steven Forrest of Monticello & Scott Forrest of Alpharetta, GA; two brothers, Danny Forrest of Little Rock & Donnie Forrest of Monticello; four sisters, Carolyn Masters of Monticello, Tootie Guthrie of Huttig, Debra Camden of Monticello & Becky Hines of Malvern; and three grandchildren, Robert, Caitlin & Kirsen.
