Robert Leon Ross, 68, of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Monticello Healthcare in Monticello. He was born October 30, 1941 in Monticello.

He was a retired auto mechanic, a National Guard Veteran and a Baptist. He was the son of the late Bradford Ross and Maude Herring Ross and was preceded in death by one son, Robert Ross.

Survivors include one son, Rick Ross of Astoria, NY; one brother, Carroll Ross of Monticello; two grandchildren, Skylar and Kaylee Ross; one step grandchild, Andrea Gill; his loving companion, Bobbie Ross; and many friends that loved him dearly.
