L.V. Harrell was born September 12, 1920 in Coleman, AR. He re-dedicated his life to Christ at Mt. Zion AME Church of Monticello, AR. He departed this life on May 24, 2009 at the Drew Memorial Hospital at the age of 88 years.

He was a retired factory worker, veteran of the U.S. Army & was married to the late Ida Mae Harrell. He was the son of the late Joe Bob Harrell & Hattie Harrell of Coleman.

He leaves to cherish his memory from this union, one son, Earl Harrell of Coleman; four brothers, Jimmie Harrell (Emma) of Dumas, Joe Bob Harrell, Jr. of Texas, Ed Harrell & Randy Harrell both of Omaha, NE; two sisters, Annie Mae Ridgell of Omaha, NE & Sherry Kay Harrell of Texas; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews & community friends.
