Willie Mae "Big Mama" Daniels, 91, of Monticello, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. She was born April 27, 1918 in Drew County.

She was the widow of Robert Daniels, a homemaker and a member of Mt. Olive AME Church in Lacey. She was the daughter of the late Lem Willie Lambert and Lou Ella Phillips Lambert, and was preceded in death by one daughter, one son, and six siblings.

Survivors include two sons, Leroy Daniels and Elvin Daniels and wife, Wanda Sue, all of Lacey; three brothers, William Lambert of Crossett, Buddy Lambert (Trudy) of Milwaukee, WS and Joe Lambert of Lacey, AR; eight sisters, Vera Dotson (Horace) of Houston, TX, Louise Miller of Fountain Hill, AR, Mary Franklin (John Porter) of Lacey, AR, Doris Franklin of Longview, AR, Linda Daniels of Kansas City, KS, Marilyn Jones of Los Angeles, CA, Pam Lambert of Fountain Hill, AR and Shirley Benton (Jerry) of Monticello; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
