Christopher R. O'Neal, 41 of Carlsbad, NM, formerly of Monticello, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019. He was born January 28, 1978. In Monticello, AR to the late Joyce Ann O'Neal and Mark Wilkes of Monticello.

Christopher was united in Holy wedlock to Taishia Martinez on January 12, 2009. They resided in Carlsbad, New Mexico. To this union three children were born two sons, Christian O'Neal, DayShaun O'Neal and one daughter, Christonnie O'Neal. Christopher had another son Anthony O'Neal from Odessa, Texas.
Christopher came home in May of 2018 and on the front porch of his grandmother, he was born again of the Spirit and he gave his heart to the Lord.

Christopher leaves to cherish precious memories, his wife, one daughter and three sons, his dad Mark Wilkes of Monticello, his precious grandmother, Joyce Steen and step-grandfather, Lee Chester Steen of Monticello, several aunts, Curtisteen Stanley of Monticello, Nancy Allen of Wilmar, Arkansas, Carol (Lonnie Sr.) Givens, Gurnee, IL, Vicky (Alvin) Scott of Waukegan, IL, Patricia Wilkes and Mary Wilkes of Monticello, AR, Uncle Bobby Allen of North Chicago, IL; two brothers, Don Bluford and Quincy Shaw of Carlsbad, New Mexico. Christopher is the son of the late Joyce Ann Scott of North Chicago and Stepson of Victor Scott of North Chicago, IL; and a host of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Greater Shady Grove A.M.E. Church with burial to follow in Wilmar Cemetery. Arrangements by Stephenson-Dearman. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
