Betty Roberts Chapman, age 83 of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, May 01, 2019 at Belle View Estates Nursing and Rehab in Monticello. She was born August 28, 1935 in Woodlawn, AR to the late Ervin and Mary Roberts.

She was the widow of Charles Raymond Chapman, member of Lacey Assembly of God Church and a former business owner of Merle Norman Studio and Betty's Kitchen. Betty enjoyed sewing, working in her flower garden and was an excellent cook.

Survivors include four sons; Randy, Raymond, Scottie and Travis Chapman all of Monticello; three brothers, Charles Roberts of Texas, Barney Roberts of New Orleans, LA and Terry Roberts of Monroe, LA; one sister, Janice Lofton of Nashville, TN; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
