Audrey James, 86, of Monticello, passed away Friday, June 4, 2010 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. She was born April 9, 1924 in Monticello.

She was the widow of Blackwell James, retired from Burlington Industries and was a receptionist for Green Thumb and was a member of Second Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late James Haynes and Georganne Tamon Haynes.

Survivors include one son, Alvin James and wife, Irma of Monticello; one daughter, Deborah Cunningham and husband, Jay of Lonoke; one sister, Evora King of Alexander, LA; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
