Betty Jean Binns, 77, found her way home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 9, 2010. Betty was born May 20, 1933 in Monticello, AR.

She graduated from Baptist School of Nursing and became a flight attendant with Delta Airlines for 39 years before retiring. Betty was a long time Houstonian resident before returning to Memphis 4 years ago. She was preceded in death by her life companion, Bill Norwood, her father, Milton Roy Binns, Sr., her mother, Maude Lang Binns, her brother, Milton Roy Binns, Jr., her sisters, Bessie Maude Binns and Virginia Mae Binns Ivy.

She leaves her niece and nephews, Bonnie Sue Ivy Nelson, Richard Ivy, Tripp Binns, Liby Binns Bowden and Howard Van Binns and many close friends.
