Freda Dale Spears, 79, of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at her home in Monticello. She was born June 12, 1931.

She was the widow of Tee Bob Spears, retired from Burlington Industries and a member of First Assembly of God Church in Monticello. She was the daughter of the late William Robert Chalk and Emma Mae Willis Chalk. She was also preceded in death by her brother, James Chalk.

Survivors include two sons, William Marvin Spears of Illinois and Ricky Lynn Spears of Monticello; two daughters, Brenda Head of Monticello and Beverly Lassiter of Pine Bluff; one brother, Billy Carroll Chalk of Monticello; eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
