Norris Thompson McCain, age 79, of Fountain Hill, AR, died Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at CHI St. Vincent in Little Rock. She was born June 23, 1940 in Lake Village, AR and was the daughter of the Late Garland Thompson and Gladys Cash Akins. Norris was a retired textile mill worker. She loved to sew, crochet, and knit. She was a loving mother and loved her grandchildren more than anything.
She was the widow of Lane Carl Brown. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by, a brother, Norrell Thompson and a sister, Bobbie Bass.
Norris is survived by two sons, Kelvan Brown and wife Kara Morgan, and Carl D. Brown, both of Fountain Hill; two daughters, Paula Marie Engelkes and husband Mark, of Monticello and Norma Windham, of Fountain Hill; four grandchildren, Crystal Amos, Ashley McGee, Justin Petty, and Elizabeth Brown; and three great-grandchildren, Brody and Blakley Smith, and Skylar Hill.
