Roselyn Grubbs Busby, age 62 of Monticello, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. She was born on November 28, 1957 in Monticello, AR to the late Kelley D. Grubbs and Rose Curry Grubbs.
Roselyn had many loves in her lifetime, including the Southeast Arkansas Foster Grandparent Program, traveling with her friends, her family, and spending time with her six grandchildren. Most of all, she loved being part of a large family, including her husband, Bill Busby, to whom she was married for more than 40 years.
Roselyn is survived by her husband, Bill Busby, of Monticello, her children, Kelli Chandler Busby (husband Colin) of The Woodlands, TX, William Busby (wife Katelyn) of Monticello, AR, and her brother, Nathaniel Grubbs (wife Traci) of Monticello, AR. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Rory Chandler, Rose Chandler, Elizabeth Jane Chandler, Georgia Chandler, Henry Busby, and Clara Busby, as well as beloved brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, and nephews who very much adored their “RoRo.”
During her lifetime, Roselyn was a proud member of the First Baptist Church of Monticello, AR. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, a zest for life, and a long list of treasured friends that will forever be touched by her unselfish and kind heart.
