Joy Lanell Allred Desoto, age 48, passed away at her home, Tuesday, October 6, 2020. She was born July 17, 1972, to Carol Hester and Ronnie Gayle Steens Allred, in Gulfport, Mississippi. She was a property manager for Warran Manor Apartments.

She is survived by her parents; husband; Steven Desoto; two sons, Jacob Smith and wife Katie of Lake City, FL, and Steven Tyler Desoto of Rison; two daughters Jessica Peek and husband Austin of Vidalia, LA, and Samantha Gayle Smith of Tillar, AR; two grandsons Silas Peek and Tristin Desoto; one brother, Brian Allred and wife Barbara of Vidalia, LA; one sister, Tonya Peavey and husband Shawn of Stuttgart, AR; as well as several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
