Mable Smith, age 59 of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020. She was born in Drew County, AR to Johnson Monroe and Orpha Elizabeth Evans Coddington on October 16, 1961.

Mable was preceded in death by her husband, Darwin Curtis; her parents; brothers, James and Monroe; and her sister, Jerldean.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Kay Barnett (Michael Wood) of Monticello; stepson, Clifford Curtis (Mandy) of Monticello; her sisters, Charlotte Murphy of Lonoke, Elizabeth Hense of Monticello, and Alma Wesson of Hamburg; her brother Wifford Coddington of Monticello; brother, Richard Dickey of Monticello; granddaughters, Desirea Broach, Kristie Pamplin, Mistie Pamplin, and Courtney Pamplin; grandsons, Darwin Curtis and Johnathon Curtis; nine great-grandchildren; a very special friend, Beverly Phelps; as well as several other family members and friends.

A come and go viewing will be Friday, December 18, 2020, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be Saturday, December 19, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. in Lone Sassafras Cemetery. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
