Gene Marshall, also known by many as Minister Marshall was born May 15, 1959 to the late Mrs. Shirley Mae Nelson Marshall and Harrison Marshall, Sr. in Gary, IN. Gene departed his life on April 23, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was educated in Indiana and Arkansas School systems. Minister Marshall started ministering in the mid 90's in Las Vegas/Portland, OR. He was a member of the Pentecostal Faith Church of Christ in Monticello. He joined under the leadership of Elder Robert Marshall in 2015. He returned back to Las Vegas, where he continued his ministry until his death.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Brenda Jean and Linda Jean; one brother Harrison Marshall, Jr.; grandmother, Mrs. Mattie Carter; two aunts, Resie L. Green and Irene Anderson; and his grandparents.
Gene leaves to cherish his loving memories, his fiance' and love of his life, Geraldine Simmons; his children Sabrina, Tyronza, Gene Laurel, Zack Jermaine; grandchildren, N'shyka A. Shelton, TyQuarius L. Gardner, Adrian, Bre, Joshua Zacarriah; great granchildren, Izahbella M. Shelton, Kartier Gardner; two sisters, Shirley Ann McCants (Willie Barnes) and Elizabeth Marshall Marthel; four brothers, Johnnie Davis (Merrith), Calvin Davis, Sr. (Brneda), Robert Marshal, Sr. (Trilisa), Rodney Marshall, Sr. (Cherlunda); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
