Thomas Houston Berryman, age 90 of Monticello, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021, at The Woods Nursing and Rehab in Monticello, AR. He was born May 17, 1931, in Drew County, AR to the late Grover Cleveland Berryman and Ethyl Stephenson Berryman. He was a retired United States Air Force Veteran and Veteran’s Representative with the Arkansas Employment Division and member of Campground United Methodist Church. Houston enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a very good storyteller. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Camille Rabb Berryman; a son, Tommy Berryman; a daughter, Janice Berryman Lemons; a great-grandson, Branson Berryman; two brothers, Robert Berryman and Grover Berryman; and three sisters, Lucille White, Margarette Cruce and Doris Hickam. Survivors include his son, Jimmy Lee Berryman and wife Kay of Monticello; daughter-in-law, Linda Berryman of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; son-in-law, Tim Lemons and wife Melinda of Cabot; one brother, Steve Berryman of Wilmar; grandchildren, Kyle Berryman (Katie) of Conway, Mark Bonnin (Laura) of Porter, TX, Brittany McBrayer (Drew) of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Brandon Berryman (Dana) of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Erica Burke (Jason) of Ward, AR and Seth Lemons and fiancé Deidra Lee of Conway; fourteen great grandchildren; a lifelong friend, Mickey Findley; along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Campground Cemetery. There will be a visitation one hour preceding the funeral service at the funeral home chapel beginning at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Legion Youth Fund or Campground United Methodist Church.
