Agrone Clifton age 84 of Monticello, Arkansas departed this life on November 13, 2021. He was born April 12, 1937, in Wilmar Arkansas to the late Henry and Norma (Daniel) Clifton. After retiring from his career in logging, Agrone enjoyed hobbies such as spending time with family, watching wrestling, and baseball. He was a member of the Pentecostal Faith Church of God in Christ Monticello, Arkansas where he served under the leadership of Pastor Robert Marshall. On November 17, 1962, he was united in Holy Matrimony to Laverne Clifton. He was preceded in death by his wife Laverne Clifton, two sons Adrian Clifton Jr and Larry Clifton; one grandson Antwon Clifton; Siblings: Larone Clifton, Lloyd Clifton, Helen (Clifton) Gardner, and Maureen (Clifton) McKinley. Agrone leaves to cherish his memory five daughters: Katie Jacobs, Trilisa Marshall (Robert) of Monticello, Arkansas; Trina Clifton of Little Rock Arkansas; Lois Jordan (Roosevelt) of Cleveland Texas, and Matiline Dockery (Anthony) of South Bend Indiana; one son Antonio Clifton (Krystal) of McGhee Arkansas; and two siblings Rose Grays and James Clifton (Eupharzine); 25 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
