Tim L. Gatewood begun his earthly journey June 22, 1946 in Holly Springs, Mississippi. He was one of several children born to John and Lucy Gatewood. He was proceeded in death by both parents, and 7 siblings. Sterling Gatewood Sr., John Gatewood, Curtis Gatewood, Cornell Gatewood, Lenora Love, Louise Gatewood, Glennie Gatewood and a great grand-daughter Davis. He received his formal education in Holly Springs, Mississippi. He moved from Holly Springs to Nebraska and then to Chicago were he lived for many years until he moved to Arkansas in 2020. He was employed with Campbell Soup until he became disabled. Tim was a loving and caring person who at all times used usual words to show just how much he cared. Never sugar coating anything. He loved gardening and hanging out with his family. Tim L. Gatewood was “one of a kind” and will truly be missed. Loved ones left to cherish his memories are two sons, Byron(Gayla) Dennis of Missori and Kim Perry of Nebraska. One daughter Gwendlyn Leonard of Monticello, Arkansas. 11 grandchildren, Byran Leonard, Floyd(Stephanie)Davis, Tony(Heather)Davis, Chanetta Davis and Sheena Leonard, Byron Jr. (Christina), Dorentancio, Zhanela, DeMescha, Lailah, Alaiyah,. 14 Great-Grandchildren and a special niece Deborah Gatewood, Special Step daughter Mee Mee and very special friend Ester Wilson. One brother Lawrence Gatewood of Omaha, Nebraska, and many other relatives and friends.
