Peggy Juanita Hallman
December 23, 1954 - March 30, 2022

Peggy Juanita Hallman, age 67 of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022, in Monticello. She was born December 23, 1954, in Laken, FL to the late Mark Omar Hallman and Agnes Juanita Cotton Sheffield.
She was retired and attended Enon Baptist Church. Peggy was a loving mother and grandmother and loved doing for others. She also loved her church and cooking. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by four brothers, James Hallman, Edward Hallman, Louis Hallman, and David Hallman; one sister, Janie Trantham; and her paternal grandparents, Flossie and George Wesley Cotton.
She is survived by three sons, Walter Dodson and wife Jennifer, William Dodson and Jessie Dodson and wife LaDonna all of Monticello; one daughter, Keena West of Monticello; one half-sister, Julie Tharpe of Ohio; six grandchildren that she was raising, Jerry and Kelli West, Jasmine, Jeanne, and Hope Harris, and Kyle Barnett; other grandchildren, Colby Dodson and wife Reagan, Nick Dodson and wife Kristy, Nomi Raney and husband Blake, Jessica Dodson and Drayke Dodson; great-grandchildren, Luke Dodson, Scarlett Dodson, Paislee Dodson, Hudson Raney, Lettie Dodson, Durban Dodson, Christian Brown, Elijah Person, Nolan Dodson, Londyn Del Angel, and Natalie Foster; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
