Myrtle Edna Kellum Smith Farley, age 85 of Monticello, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022, at Belleview Estates Nursing and Rehab in Monticello, AR. She was born August 20, 1936, in Drew County, AR to the late Clyde Kellum and Ellie Inez Harrison Kellum. She was the widow of John R. “Bobby” Farley, a homemaker and a lifetime member of Oak Grove Assembly of God Church of Monticello. Mrs. Myrtle was a devout Christian and a gifted seamstress. She and her husband, Bobby loved to travel on motorcycles and toured all 48 United States Continental States and Southern Canada. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Donnie Farley; a grandson, Michael W. Hair; brothers, Leo and Otis (Hot) Kellum; and a brother-in-law, James Young. The family would like to issue a special thank you to the staff of Belleview Estates for the love, care, and companionship given to our mom. She loved you all like family! She is survived by a son, Steven Smith; daughters, Theresa (David) Hair, Gayla (David) Worrell, and Patricia Farley; daughter-in-law, Marisia Farley; grandchildren, Christopher (Jennifer) Hair, John (Melissa) Worrell, Jason (Sarah Sayyar) Worrell, Autumn Smith, John D.
