Elizabeth Jerry (Ann) Carter Harton
October 16, 1940 - December 24, 2022

Elizabeth Jerry Ann (Ann) Carter Harton, age 82 of Warren, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022, at her home. Born October 16, 1940, in Moyers, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late William Richard “W.R.” Carter and the late Vernicia Maybell Osgood Carter. She was a member of the Baptist Faith and attended Wilmar Public Schools. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and grader at Wilson Flooring Mill and held many other roles during her lifetime. On March 16, 1963, she married the late Jimmy Wayne “Lightfoot” Harton. She was preceded in death by her brothers Willard “Sam” Carter and Richard “Ricky” Carter; and a sister, Geneva Carter Engen Moore.
Surviving children are Benita Harton of Warren, Shelia Harton and late significant other Tommy Belvadresi of Warren AR and Allen, TX, Tresea O’Neill and spouse Bobby O’Neill of Allen, TX; two sons, Jimmy DeWayne Harton and his late wife Amy, and Robert William Harton all of Warren; eleven grandchildren Toby Johnson (Carrie Jane), Justin Harton (Katharine), Josh Belvedresi (Lindsey), Cory Harton (Lacie), Trisha Gnew (Jacob), Ashton Wilson (Steven), Robert Drake Harton (Haley), Remington Wyatt Harton, Blade Angle, Chloe Herron, and Jasper Herron; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. You can sign Ann’s guestbook page at www.stephensondearman.com.
