Thomas Erric Huff, age 61 of Rayville, Louisiana, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023. He was born June 22, 1962, in Bastrop, Louisiana to the late Thomas Griffin and Anna Carpenter Griffin. He was a retired laborer and was of the Baptist faith. Tommy never met a stranger. He couldn’t go anywhere in Southeast Arkansas without running into someone he knew. He loved playing dominoes and video games along with collecting movies and watching them. Another hobby he enjoyed was watching wrestling where his favorite wrestler was Shawn Michaels. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Thomas Clifton “T.C.” Huff; four brothers, Michael Huff, Edward Huff, Jerry Huff and Elvis Griffin; and four sisters, Lisa Haynes, Mary Wilson, Debbie Huff and Marie Barnett. He is survived by his children, Eric Hammock of Monticello and Beth Hammock of Hot Springs; one brother, Kenneth Huff of Oklahoma; one sister, Carren Thomas of Star City; his fiancee, Barbara Steel of Rayville, LA; two step children, Diamond and Hunter Steel both of Rayville, LA; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. There will be a visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. preceding the funeral service at the funeral home.
