Ennis Holland Morgan, age 88 of Monticello, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, AR. He was born November 8, 1934, in Kosiesco, MS to the late Jessie Irby Morgan and Juanita Josephine Sweatte Morgan. Ennis was of the Pentecostal Faith and was a retired mechanic. He loved working on lawnmowers and cars along with fishing, music, and playing his guitar.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by two sisters, Earlene Jones and Barbara Abernathy; one brother, Paul Morgan; two sons, Eric Morgan and Wayne Morgan; and one grandson, Matthew Morgan.
He is survived by two children; Curtis Morgan of Squaw Valley, CA, and Troy Morgan and wife Natalie of Clovis, CA; five siblings, Erma Douglas of OK City, OK, Lena Randall of Monticello, Peewee Morgan of Squaw Valley, CA, Jenell Sharp of Montevallo, AL, and James Morgan of Monticello; five grandchildren, Shane Morgan, Brad Morgan, Ryan Morgan, Cole Morgan, Dalton Morgan; eight great-grandchildren, Brody Morgan, Troy Clowers, Suzanne Clowers, Brooklyn Morgan, Troy Enfield, Ivy Thibodeau, Jade Thibodeau, and Isaac Thibodeau; along with numerous nieces, nephews; great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2023, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. There will be a visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. preceding the funeral service at the funeral home. You can sign Ennis’ guestbook page at www.stephensondearman.com.
