Gloria Jerrine “Jeri” Hoover Kling, age 92 of Monticello, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Belle View Estates Nursing and Rehab in Monticello, Arkansas. She was born December 11, 1930, in Dermott, Arkansas to the late Luther Owen Hoover and Anna Belle Manees (Bo) Jeffers.
Jeri married the late John Thomas Kling February 19, 1948, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was of the Baptist faith and loved spending time with her children. In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by her sister, June Hoover from Monticello; and a brother, Owen Hoover from Sheridan.

Jeri is survived by her children, Larry Kling and wife Ann of Monticello, Arkansas, Randy Kling and wife Debbie of Mississippi, Rusty Kling of Monticello, and Kathy Ward of Monticello; ten grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; twelve great- great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside Services will be 4:30 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Manees Family Cemetery in Monticello, Arkansas with Rev. Rob Leonard officiating. You can sign Jeri’s guestbook here on her page.
