Jerry Wesley Pryor, Jr., age 45 of Monticello, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024, at his home. He was born June 28, 1978, in Monticello, AR.
He was a carpenter, concrete finisher and pipeline worker and was of the Baptist faith. Jerry enjoyed fishing and camping with his daughter. They used to go camping for the whole summer when she was younger. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry McManus Pryor; and his grandmothers, Agnes Ilene Bates and Gladys Pryor.
He is survived by his daughter, Hayley Pryor Scogins and wife Ashley Scogins; his father, Jerry Pryor and wife Sherry; a sister, Melissa Emerson; niece and nephew, Brent and Sydney Emerson; aunts and uncles, Linda Faulkner and husband Bruce, and Tony McManus and wife Dianne; and his best friend, Houston “Boogie” Cheramie and wife Joasie Burchfield.
