Bishop Albert Thomas Davis, age 94, of Cabot, Arkansas passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Greystone Nursing and Rehab in Cabot. He was born April 9, 1930, in Cleveland County, Arkansas to the late David Davis and Annie Mae Massey Davis. Bishop AT was an ordained Bishop in the Church of God. He had a Bachelor of Biblical Studies and Pastoral Counseling degree. Bishop AT Davis accepted the Lord as his savior at the Church of God in Pine Bluff, Arkansas in March of 1950 at the age of 19. He dedicated his life to loving Christ, his church and his family and lived his life modeling the principles of the scripture and the Church of God declaration of faith. He married his wife, Martha Faye Huff Davis, his partner in life, in December of 1950 and she remained the love of his life for their 72 years of marriage. He served in ministry for 70 years and as a pastor for 50-plus years. In addition to his parents, Bishop AT Davis is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Faye Huff Davis; sons, Joseph David Davis & Gregory Scott Davis; grandson, Brendan Nash; brothers, Starling, Horace and Joe Davis; and sisters, Effie Brantley, Odell Hawkins and Mary Helen Slayder. He is survived by a son, Bishop Albert Randall (Janice) Davis; daughters, Brenda Nash and Sherry (Chuck) Middleton; brother, David (Frances) Davis, Jr.; grandchildren, Shanneen Watson, Shane Nash, Cheree (Mark) Haston, Angel (Ryan) Chapman, Kendall (Robin) Nash, Natasha (Josh) Dowda, Anthony (Crystal) McNutt, Jonathan Davis and Jodie (Daniel) Cantrell; twenty-seven great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2024, at First Assembly of God Church located next to Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home with Church of God State Administrative Bishop Bill Claypool, Bishop Jeff Cole, Rev. Mark Haston and Rev. Larry Swiger officiating. There will be a visitation from 1:00-1:30 p.m. preceding the funeral service at the church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
