Thester Trotter Little, 85, of Monticello, passed away, on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the Woods of Monticello. She was born January 25, 1939, in Wilmar, Arkansas to the late Haywood Jackson and Riler Phillips Jackson. Thester gave her life to Christ at a young age. She enjoyed helping people and was a dietician at Edgewood Elementary and Trinity Village Nursing Home for many years before her retirement. She was also a cosmetologist. Thester loved fishing and couldn't wait for the next fishing trip. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husband, Richard Little; brothers, Charles Jackson and Alonzo Jackson; sisters, Norma Jean Neal, and Pearl Jones; son, Joseph Trotter; and stepson, Kevin Little. Thester leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Melvin Trotter (Miko), of Wilmar, AR, Sharrion Craig (Robert) of Wichita, KS, Kelvin Trotter (Felicia) of North Little Rock, AR, and Calvin Trotter (Wuanita) of Pine Bluff, AR; sister, Maelene Harris (Johnnie) of Dermott, AR; twenty-six grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; the father of her children, George Trotter; daughter in law, Sandy Trotter; stepchildren, Kirk Anthony Little, Donna Little, and Levert Thurman; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be on Friday, June 28, 2024, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Thester's Going Home celebration will be on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. in the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gwain Hammock officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
