Mary Bell Porter Stone, age 89, of Monticello, Arkansas passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Wentworth Cottages of Magnolia. She was born December 12, 1934, to the late Major Porter and Lena Dean Porter in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Mary Bell was the wife of the Late Benny Stone. She owned Mary’s fashion for many years. She was a member of Center Missionary Baptist Church in Rowell, AR. She loved cooking and baking for anyone and everyone. Mary Bell was best known for her love of high-heeled shoes. She loved singing in church, which she began doing at the age of 2. She loved fishing and visiting with her friends. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandkids. In addition to her parents, Mary Bell is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Robinson; two sisters and five brothers. She is survived by her three children, Karen Robinson and husband Ken, David Stone and wife Jessica, and Matt Stone and wife Jenny; grandchildren, Laci Baugh (Jason), Silas Robinson (Mary), Kelly Garner (Trent), Mason Stone (Shelby), Hillary Veazey (Ethan), Jon Stone, Macey Long (Jack), and Lindy Westfall; great-grandchildren, Peyton Baugh, Brooklyn Baugh, Jack Robinson, Isla Robinson, Lincoln Garner, Mack Stone, Delta Garner, Mae Stone, Collins Veazey, and Quinn Veazey; and brother Donald Ray Porter; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be Friday, November 8, 2024, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel.
