Jamie Dan’Yelle Meier, age 5, of Dermott, AR, formerly of Monticello, AR, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024. She was born May 18, 2019, in Monticello, Arkansas to Dusty and Heather Meier. Dan’Yelle was the light of the room. She was full of life and never met a stranger. She gave hugs and love to everyone she encountered, always showing the true heart of a child. Dan’Yelle enjoyed riding the four-wheeler with her siblings, riding her bike, and she always wanted to go fast no matter what car she was in or who was driving. She liked unicorns and rainbows. She liked being silly and the loudest in the room. She loved to play outside, and you couldn’t keep her shoes on her. She loved animals and wanted to be a vet when she grew up. She was a student at McGehee Elementary School. She had an old soul and loved old music. She also loved tractors. Dan’Yelle is preceded in death by her grandfather, Tiger Meier; and aunt, Jamie Hunnicutt, whom she was named after. She is survived by her parents; siblings, Faith and Kolten Meier; grandparents, Charlotte Hense, Gary Smith, Kim Octavo, and Rafael Octavo; uncle, Darrell Meier and wife; aunts, Clarisa Adams and husband Paul and Alejandra Gulley and husband AJ; great aunts, Patricia Barnett, Stacy McCloud, Lisa Adams, and Alecha Avance; great grandma, Elizabeth Hense; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and other family who she loved wholeheartedly. Dan’Yelle’s visitation will be Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. Funeral Services will be Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. Burial will follow in Lone Sassafras Cemetery in Drew County. Pallbearers will be her uncles by choice, Dustyn Bittle, Jarred Mangum, Jared Golden, and Bradley Bittle. You can sign Dan’Yelle’s guestbook here on her page.
