Zan William Pierce, Jr.
December 18, 1950 - January 5, 2025

Rev. Zan William Pierce Jr., age 74 of Monticello, AR, went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, January 5, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 18, 1950, in Dermott, AR to the late Zan Pierce and Iwana Donaldson Pierce.
He was a pastor and member of Cominto Baptist Church for many years. Brother Zan enjoyed hunting, fishing, coin collecting, listening to music, auto-repair and visiting with his church members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Raelynn Pierce; a brother, Rick Pierce; a sister, Sharon Miller; and a great granddaughter, Lola Culpepper.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Pierce of Monticello: his children, David Pierce of Cabot, Danyella Miller (Blaine) of Arkadelphia, Andrea Oltmann (Michael) of Monticello, Kelli Jo Pierce of Rogers, John Ripley (Barbie) of Searcy and Laura Ripley of Rogers: grandchildren, Melissa Culpepper (Ryan) of Snyder, Andrea Pack (Joshua) of Malvern, Ashlynn Hayes (Heath) and Ryan Oltmann all of Monticello, Jake Ripley (Alyssa) of El Dorado; Morgan Ripley of Jonesboro; Madison Hooper of Rogers, Brooke and Lynn Paschall both of Monticello; great grandchildren, Wyatt and Ali Rose Culpepper both of Snyder, Luna Pack of Malvern, Wyatt and Wrenlee Hayes both of Monticello; siblings, Roger Pierce of Monticello; Jay Pierce (Rita) of Paducah, KY and Danny Pierce (Debbie) of Pearcy; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Christmas and Rev. Monty Meek officiating. There will be visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rash Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Michael Oltmann, Ryan Oltmann, Heath Hayes, John Ripley, Jake Ripley, John David Vondran, Jeremy Oltmann and Walter Dodson.
