Willie Marie Green, age 93 of Monticello, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Baptist Health Drew County in Monticello, Arkansas. She was born October 19, 1931, to the late Andrew and Johnnie Turner Green in Drew County, Arkansas. Ms. Willie Marie loved to walk about in her community for pleasure when she was able to do so. She also enjoyed going with her Jehovah's Witness brothers and sisters out into Field Service within Drew County sharing the Good News and attending the Assemblies with them. She was a childcare provider for many years before she retired.
Ms. Willie Marie is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Joe, Boney Jock, and John;' six sisters, Margarite, Mattie, Sophie, Cynthie, Emma, and Blanche; her eldest daughter, Cheryl; her eldest grandchild, Eddie; and an infant great great- grandchild, Zyan.
She is survived by a daughter, Diane (George) of Kansas City, Missouri; two sons, Rodney (Pam) of Monticello, Arkansas and Mark (Nicole) of Pheonix, AZ; nine grandchildren, Bryon, Gerald, Tonya, Shameka, Brandon, Veronica, Acacia, Jaelen, and Micah; and a host of both great-grandchildren and great great- grandchildren to cherish her memory.
Ms. Willie Marie Green's memorial service will be Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness at 2061 Highway 425 North, Monticello, Arkansas 71655 at 1:00 p.m.
