Jimmy William Paris, Sr., 61 of Cabot, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at the V.A. Hospital in Little Rock. He was born February 2, 1948 in Drew County, AR.
He was a breakeman and conductor for Union Pacific Railroad, U. S. Army Veteran of Vietnam and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his father, David Paris and one brother, Wayne Allen Paris.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Strickland Paris of Cabot; two sons, Jimmy W. Paris, Jr. and Tyler W. Paris, both of Cabot; three daughters, Angela Marie Dickey of Waco, TX, Julie Ann Paris of Eden, NC and Misty Nicole Wood of Cabot; his mother and step father, Annie Lee Barnett Lytle and Ronnie Lytle of Collins, AR; two brothers, Elmer David Paris of Dermott and Billy Joe Paris of Bearden, AR; two sisters, Martha Swayze of Collins and Ginger Standridge of Collins; eight grandchildren.
