Richard Allen Shook, age 67 of Monticello, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2009 at his home. He was born December 6, 1941 in Monticello.

He was retired from SEARK Marine as an electrician and was Baptist. He was the son of the late G.T. Bo Shook and Auline Lane Shook. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Shook and a grandson, Branden Etue.

Survivors include his wife, Gale Allen Shook of Monticello; two daughters, Cindy Featherston and husband, Mike of Monticello and Mandy Etue and husband, Tim of Star City; one grandson, Aaron Etue and one granddaughter, Cassidy Etue; one god-grandson, Kyle Tucker of Monticello; two sisters, Sharon McIntyre of Monticello and Roxanne Rizzo of Titusville, FL.
