Joshua Guy Wells, 24, of Udall, Kansas, formerly of Monticello, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Via Christi Hospital in Wichita, Kansas, due to complications from Huntington's Disease. He was born June 27, 1985 in Monticello.

He was a high school graduate and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his mother, Denita Wood Wells and his grandmother, Barbara Brown Wood.

Survivors include his father and step mother, Steve and Cindy Wells, of Udall, Kansas; four brothers, Jett Wells of Oxford, MS, Corey Wells and Chase Scott, both of Andover, Kansas and Issac Patteson of Udall, Kansas; one sister, Sarah Patteson of Udall, Kansas; grandparents, J.B. & Beatrice Wells of Monticello and Bill & Glenda Wood of Hamburg; and great-grandmother, Pearl Brown of Monticello, four Special Care Givers: Christine Bolchlinger, Sarah Hood, Rochelle Lester and Jessica Saiz-Gardenhire.
