Roderick Keith McKnight, age 64 of Blanchard, LA, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024, at his home. He was born November 26, 1959, in Little Rock, AR to Mary Lou Chandler and the late Troy McKnight.
He was a welder with Dixie Weld Fab, Inc. and a member of Indian Hills Baptist Church.
Roderick was married to Kathleen Hawkins McKnight and is survived by a son, Michael McKnight of Blanchard, LA; his mother, Mary Lou Chandler of Sumpter; his younger brother, Tracy McKnight and sister-in-law, Tammie McKnight of Danielsville, GA; three half-brothers, Billy Pounds of West Virginia, Chad Chandler and Kiley Chandler both of Memphis, TN; a step-brother, Stacy Chandler; a step sister, Dee Dee Owens; two nieces, Brandy McKnight and her daughters Brookelynn and Mary, Alyssa Chandler and her daughter Isla; three nephews, Logan Pounds, Ethan Chandler and his son Aden, and Devin Chandler; an uncle, Bobby Ray Wilson; and an aunt, Barbara Jean Dittman.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. There will be a visitation Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gaster Hill Cemetery. You can sign Rodrick's guestbook registry on this page.
