Geraldine just told me Friday of seeing Billy's obituary. It struck me hard because, Darlene, I have such vivid memories of often being a third wheel with you two during high school. The last time I saw either of you was when we "took the class reunion to you" years ago. Ironically, I had just recently done a search online for you and found your daughter-I actually wrote a message to her asking for contact information, intending to post it as a private message on her Facebook page, then lost it before I could post it. I wish I had immediately tried again. My prayers are with you and the extended family as you continue to bear this great loss, dear friend of my youth!

Darlene, I was so saddened to read of Billy's death. I have fond memories of sitting beside him and Charles in Mr. Todd's biology class in 10th grade at Monticello High - he even made Mr. Todd grin with his outrageous humor! May God hold you in his tender care.
