Harold Wayne Roberts, age 67 of Monticello, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock. He was born April 8, 1947 in Lake Village, the son of the late Earnest Lee Roberts and Margrett Maxine Chattom Roberts.

He was a pawn broker, United States Army Veteran and attended Eastside Missionary Baptist Church. Wayne was also a member of Veteran of Foreign Wars, Military Order of the Purple Heart, Lions Club and First Calvary Association. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ray Roberts, Donald Roberts and David Roberts and two sisters, Mary Cook and Joyce Rodgers.

Survivors include one daughter, Jennifer Yount of Monticello; one grandson, Michael Yount of Monticello; one brother, Walter Roberts of Lead Hill; two sisters, Betty Robertson of Banks and Hazel Friend of Searcy; one niece, Dava Hocking, one great-nephew, Louis P. Hocking, Jr. and one great-niece, Cheyenne A. Hocking.
