Lloyd Clifton was born on September 14, 1941 in Wilmar, Arkansas to the late Henry and Norma (Daniel) Clifton. He was the six child of a family of seven. He departed his life on August 9, 2015 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
He was an active member at the Church of Christ located in Wilmar, Arkansas. Lloyd was also an outdoors man that loved nature. As a retired lumber jack, he enjoyed working in his garden and watching his favorite western movies and wrestling.
Lloyd is preceded in death by his sister Maureen (Clifton) McKinley, and Helen (Clifton) Gardner.
He leaves to cherish his memory, six children from his decrease wife Louella Clifton, Bobbie (Monroe) Suber of Monticello, Arkansas; Cynthia Clifton, Vlendia Clifton, Veronica Noeske of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Shirletha (Bernard) McWay, Sandra Broughton, of Annapolis, Maryland.
He is survived by his wife Mary Vivian (Rhodes) Clifton of Wilmar, Arkansas; and daughter, Charmella (Bret) Ware of Houston Texas; his godson James Grays of Atlanta, Georgia three Brothers, James, Argrone, and Laron Clifton of Monticello, Arkansas; sister Elnor Rose (Clifton) Grays of Monticello, Arkansas; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. Burial will follow in Wilmar Cemetery. Arrangements are by Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
